  Car hire is highly recommended, particularly for those wishing to explore the island and essential if you are staying at one of our rural properties.  We use reputable local car hire companies and are able to offer you a wide range of makes and models to suit your party.  

• Insurance

Travel Insurance is a vital aspect to booking a holiday, giving you protection against unforseen circumstances that could otherwise spoil your holiday.  We strongly recommend that you purchase our insurance which has been carefully prepared and arranged with Travel & General Insurance Company plc, offering excellent cover at a competitive price. 

• Flights & Transfers

We do not sell flights, but acting as retail agents for ATOL holders (except 'no frills' airlines), we will endeavour to obtain the best possible flight for you using reliable companies.  Please allow us to find you a competitive quotation without obligation.   Average flying time from Gatwick to Mahon is approximately 2hrs 15mins and from Manchester/Birmingham approximately 2hrs 30mins.

We do not arrange transfers, but for clients not taking car hire, taxis are plentiful at the airport to take you to your accommodation.  Prices range from around £12 - £25 per journey, dependant on distance from the airport.

• Welcome Food Packs

Ideal for those arriving after normal opening hours and designed to cater for your basic essential needs.  A typical food pack suitable for 4 persons consists of water, orange juice, tea, coffee, milk, bread, butter/margarine, cheese, jam, wine, toilet roll, soap, washing-up liquid, sponge & matches and is charged at £18 (contents may vary).  Please specify at the time of booking if you wish us to supply a welcome pack.
