From the moment you arrive, you will see why Cala Galdana is known as the ‘Queen of the Calas' and is regarded as one of the most beautiful and popular resorts in Menorca. Cala Galdana is 7km from the town of Ferreries and halfway along the sunny southern coast.

The hotels, apartments and villas in Cala Galdana are spread over the steep wooded hills and cliffs. The main road snakes down and around the harbour area, and the gently shelving beach offers safe bathing, snorkeling, and a host of watercrafts for sport and fun on the waves.

This is easily reached by a footbridge over the Algendar river which flows slowly into the sea. Nearby, a stroll through fragrant woods takes you to the picturesque coves of Macarella and Macareletta, and in the opposite direction the small but delightfully unspoilt bay of Cala Mitjana.
